“The Opus Movie”: Powerful Sequel To “The Secret”

After the phenomenal success of the inspiration movie “The Secret,” it was only a matter of time before a sequel was released. “The Opus Movie,” commonly referred to as “Opus,” and released in May, 2008, is that long-awaited sequel. Like “The Secret,” “Opus” focuses on the Law of Attraction and how its use can drastically change lives for the better. The Law of Attraction is a simple explanation of the concept “Like attracts like.” In other words, the thoughts you harbor will attract more similar thoughts and manifest themselves into situations that reflect those thoughts. If you live surrounded in negativity, bad things will happen, but if you harness the power of positive thoughts, your life will blossom. “The Opus” follows the renowned composer Antonio Vivaldi, who is most famous for composing “The Four Seasons.” Vivaldi accomplished more than most of us ever will in our lives, all while having severe asthma and many other health conditions. While Vivaldi’s compelling story is told, several modern influential figures offer their take on what turns a goal into an achievement. This is how “The Opus” differs from “The Secret” and is why it is one of few sequels to be considered better than the original. “The Secret” focuses mostly on explaining the Law of Attraction, while “Opus” teaches you to set, carry out and stick with goals.
